Humanity's Sanctuary

Recommended: Infinite Replacements of My Daughter's Anime World

I heard they wanted me to become the Demon King, and I was so scared I nearly wet myself. Isn't the Demon King the enemy of humanity? I'm a pure-blooded human! How could you expect me, a human, to destroy humanity?

But then the demon executive who came to get me scolded me, complaining, "What terrifying things are you talking about? Humans are our demon race's number-one protected species! How could we destroy them? Honestly, you have no idea how hard we work. We've already thrown everything we've got into simply maintaining the human population at its current level!"

Can my jaw just hit the floor?
