A force composed of space upstarts, hungry for power and advocating active external expansion. In the year 4028 of the Light Year Calendar, the aging Federation was clinging to the old ways and unwilling to make progress. The Empire dispatched an expedition fleet to launch a war of liberation against it. Just as the Federation was about to fall, the Republic shouted slogans of democracy and peace and shamelessly attacked the empire's rear cities. The Federation took the opportunity to attack from both sides. The empire suffered a disastrous defeat and its former glory was gone.. This novel and its characters are purely fictitious.
