An Affair Blossoms in the Shadows

This is infuriating! He only wanted to borrow the emperor's jade seal to take a look, but Lang Tengye kept getting in his way! Just as he was pleased with himself for scheming to break one of his legs, he heard that the emperor was arranging a matchmaking banquet for him, and he, the Peach Blossom Junzhu who had been raised as a girl, was among the invitees? Having to attend was bad enough, but his addlebrained father actually wanted him to make that vile man fall for him!? As if he'd ever do that... That black-clad thief was really strange! Not only could he call him by name, he also broke into the palace specifically to find him. Stranger still, he broke into his residence to challenge him to a duel, but when he discovered his leg hadn't healed, he changed his mind and started treating it instead? Interesting! He'd ferret out the man's true motives and get back at him...
