Marvel's Warden of the Multiverse

"Thanos, you are accused of murdering half the life in the Marvel Universe. After careful consideration, I, the prison warden, have decided to lock you up for 96.5 billion years!"

"I won't accept this! If you want to frame me, you'll find some excuse!" Thanos protested.

"Whether you accept it or not, once you're in this prison, what I say goes. But..."

Xiao He paused, then changed tack.

"The law should leave room for human feeling, Thanos. Just hand over the power of the Titans and the Infinity Gauntlet, and I'll cut your sentence by 50 percent. What do you say? Want to hear more?"

"This is extortion! Where is justice? Where is fairness?"

Thanos shook with rage and cried, "Does having power mean you can do whatever you want?!"

"Sorry, but having power really does mean you can do whatever you want. Hahaha..."

Xiao He looked down at his gleaming gear and burst out laughing.
