In 20xx, at some inexplicable point in time, Wang Jialin discovered that the world he lived in had completely changed. Monsters were invading the world, and people could only grow stronger by continually leveling up in a game called Fantasy Westward Journey, gaining the power they needed to survive in reality. When the stats of characters in the game could sync with real people, and the game's gear, weapons, summoned beasts, and even its NPCs could all be brought into the real world, an unfamiliar world began to unfold.
Wang Jialin entered the game and discovered that although his old level 175 account had been reset, all its other stats and everything else were still there. Thus began his private-server game and the world that belonged to him!
