Narcotics Police: An Undercover Agent Without Regrets

After graduating from the police academy, young police officer Gu Lei is assigned to the Narcotics Squad, where he learns undercover work from his mentor, Duan Xingui. During a series of arrests involving drug users and dealers, Duan teaches him many investigative techniques. Instructor Yin also gives Gu Lei considerable help and guidance as he trains. The drug dealers' brutality and cunning help Gu Lei understand ever more deeply the harm drugs cause to the country, society, and ordinary people. After arresting a drug user and dealer who has just left rehab, a string of suspects and drug cases come to light. Gu Lei seems to have an endless stream of undercover assignments and drug cases to solve. The many kinds of dangerous dealers and their chilling, astonishing methods of committing crimes make Narcotics Officer Gu Lei more and more seasoned. The intelligence and courage with which narcotics officers fight drug dealers, risking their lives in battle without fearing sacrifice or bloodshed, is deeply moving. Narcotics officers work in obscurity, but we must never forget the stories of their sacrifices and the blood they shed.
