Back to Field: The Supreme Immortal Emperor

Reporter: Immortal, why did you descend to the mortal world?

Lin Fan: Being an immortal is boring. You'll understand once you become one.

Reporter: Um... Why insist on being an ordinary person? Everyone longs to become an immortal, don't they?

Lin Fan: As for being an immortal... Going back to Heaven is out of the question. I won't be returning to live as an immortal in this lifetime. I don't like eating peaches of immortality, and cultivating celestial arts is no fun. Being a mortal is the only thing that interests me.

Reporter: Oh. So, which do you think is better, Heaven or the mortal world?

Lin Fan: The mortal world, of course! Being here feels like coming home. Life here is much better than in Heaven. Being alone in Heaven is so boring, and there are no girlfriends to hang out with. Only after coming to the mortal world did I realize that everyone's so talented and speaks so delightfully. I really love it here.

Reporter: But you can't have so many girlfriends all to yourself. What about the rest of us mortals?

Lin Fan flies into a rage. The reporter dies on the spot.
