Live: The Death-Wish Tycoon

Su Zhe is miserable. His life is a farce. He became the richest man in Su Province at the age of twenty, and his life can be summed up like this: there is nothing to look forward to. So he wants to get himself killed and change his fate.

The farce began when he was seven.

At seven, during an exam, he knocked over an ink bottle. In his panic, he smeared ink all over his test paper. That was when his miserable life began: the ink stains somehow became an ink painting, and the principal had it framed and hung in the office.

At twelve, when he graduated from elementary school, he was afraid of being recommended to a gifted students' program, so he deliberately handed in a blank test. As it happened, the exam questions that year were flawed, and he was the only one who hadn't written anything. The mayor commended him, and he was named one of the city's Outstanding Elementary School Students.

At seventeen, after graduating from high school, he beat a teacher so badly he thought, Now I can go to jail. But the man turned out to be an A-level fugitive who had been in hiding for twenty years. Su Zhe suddenly became one of the nation's Top Ten Outstanding Youths.

At nineteen, he stole all the money in his family's home to buy lottery tickets, figuring his parents would beat him to death. But he hit the jackpot with 10,000 winning bets in a row...
