The Sequel to The Legend of Sword and Fairy

As the earlier story told, on the journey to Nanzhao, Li Xiaoyao lost his wife and friends, while his master died through the dissolution of his body. No matter how gifted Li Xiaoyao was or how powerful his martial arts, he ultimately couldn't escape the shackles of fate. In this vast mortal world, he had nowhere left to call home.

Yet a hidden mastermind was behind the many calamities and hardships that befell Li Xiaoyao. The Sword Saint had seen what was coming, and his parting with Qing'er ten years earlier was an attempt to protect himself. He imprisoned Zhao Ling'er to save Li Xiaoyao and the others, but that cost Lin Yueru her life. The unjust death of his junior brother, the Wine Sword Immortal, through bodily dissolution made the Sword Saint sense a conspiracy. At last, he decided to intervene, and the true face of Mount Shu gradually came to light. Now, the hidden mastermind has finally turned his attention toward Mount Shu...
