An Experience I Miss Very Much

The most enjoyable time is to move a small chair, far away from my family, under the big tree in the corner of the courtyard, and let the book take me to another world. They really have this magic. I am actually a person with a strong thirst for knowledge. The courses arranged by the school sound so interesting. Art, music, English, history, Chinese, nature --- there should be so many beautiful stories behind these subjects. Mathematics should not be a rigid thing, because it requires step-by-step inference and calculation. This is similar to detective novels. I am so thirsty for new knowledge, how I want to know why a flower blooms, why an artist spends his whole life in poverty for painting, and how I want to understand what those horizontal English letters are telling us mysteriously--- It's a pity that my teachers never told these stories that I longed for. This novel and its characters are purely fictitious. Any similarity is purely coincidental and should not be imitated.
