There is more than one star in the night sky, and humans are not the only intelligent beings. In the darkness, demons watch humanity. They wait, they hunt, and they are endless. Because of humanity's limited perception, monsters can do almost anything they please. Only a few people are lucky enough to attract the monsters' interest. The monsters take up residence in their hearts and become inner demons. Though they are always at risk of being devoured by those inner demons, they gain the power to fight the demons. They call themselves exorcists.
