Vampire Knight

The story begins on a snowy night, when the pureblood vampire Kaname Kuran sees a spirit no one else can see. The two become inseparable friends, bound by a deep affection. The spirit never lives past the age of eighteen in any of her reincarnations. When Kaname learns this, he vows to marry her and swears to wait for her for the rest of his life, even if she disappears.
