The Lowly Bug

People say that many things become habits. I've always believed that, but... the truth is nothing like that. I keep thinking they're still behind me, but whenever I turn around, all I see is my own shadow.

I kept walking down the path I'd chosen, without looking back. I thought I was saving someone, but it felt more like driving myself step by step into a dead end.

If what I swore to protect has become unrecognizable, then let it all be destroyed!
