If Only There Could Be an If

There was a time when she felt that her whole world was shrouded in darkness. After the class reshuffle, her old friends gradually drifted away, and even her former best friend slowly grew distant with time. During that period, she asked herself countless times: Had I done something wrong? She asked herself again and again: Is this what friendship is supposed to be? Friendship is like life: only after shedding tears can you learn to smile; only after falling into darkness can you see the light.

She passed through one dark period after another, and at last found the light that belonged to her. It wasn't a friend, but a truth: true friends won't leave you for any reason, and they won't grow distant with time. If your friends are drifting farther and farther away, then there's only one answer...

They aren't true friends!
