The Scarlet Balance

The Pit of Naraku is said to be a passageway to the gates of the underworld. In a distant island nation, there are many such places. Since opening one inevitably lets demons and spirits loose in the human world, generations of shrine maidens and exorcist families have kept them tightly sealed. But now, one of the gates has been opened. Under cover of a mass demon uprising, great fiends such as the fox demon slaughtered dozens of local onmyoji and shrine maidens guarding the area, then fled. Although the head of the main family, Kamishiro Maiichi, swiftly arrived with a large group of shrine maidens and performed a sealing ritual around the out-of-control Pit of Naraku, countless demons still escaped into the darkness...

Kamishiro Chirin, the strongest shrine maiden of her generation, and her companions came to Huaxia in search of the fox demon. And at this very moment, our protagonist, the Nullifier Wen Hou, made his dazzling entrance.
