In an unknown universe, eight races stand in opposition: gods, demons, dragons, humans, ghosts, objects, monsters, and illusions. The alliance of gods, humans, and some of the dragons remains locked in conflict with the demons, objects, monsters, illusions, and the other dragons. War has become commonplace across the universe. Countless lives have been lost, and all living beings suffer miserably. Then one day, the mantis demon beast descends and rises to become a great leader, leaving an immortal mark on this long history of blood and fire...
A hundred thousand years later, after a so-called hundred thousand years of peace, when "still waters run deep," the mantis descends upon the world once more. Fighting for compassion and dreams is the lifelong pursuit of every soldier in the Mantis Demon Spirit Army. They believe that as long as the mantis lives, the weak will always have a sanctuary of their own in this war-torn universe...
