Memories That Haunt Me

My home is like the ethereal peaks, shrouded in mist, with towering mountains and distant roads. I stand in the city, ancient as a caveman transmigrated through time. After graduating from high school, I boarded a train to sell my youth, became trapped in an industrial park, hurried along assembly lines, and busied myself with the same three points on the map. It was like going through a smokeless war, battling time like Kuafu chasing the sun, and losing so completely that I was left in tatters. The years drove my hairline back step by step; the flames of war ravaged my face, leaving it desolate, ruined, and mottled. My youth was torn apart, and my bones buried in a foreign land. I lamented that time was too thin and my fingers too wide. So what have I left behind? Well, let's see what's on the big screen.
