The Legend of Astor

Astor is the eldest son of the Irish Earl de Farrar. He also has a sister. Because of his mother's death, his father married him to a stepmother who was very bad to Astor and his sister. Later, the stepmother gave birth to two boys and a girl. One day, a messenger from Clemons's family brought a letter, saying that in order to fulfill the verbal promise he had made with Count Cressmond, he would now send his young lady to be engaged to Astor. This was originally just an ordinary marriage, but Astor obviously had no interest in becoming a tool for marriage. After all, didn't he have several younger brothers?
