We Are Each Other's Best Encounter

Everything youth gives us: the figure bowing her head beneath the banyan tree, seeming to drift like smoke, here and gone. The sadness we once felt always makes us carve scars into our youth... Hoping time will never erase them. At the beginning, we were so willful, so stubborn, so strong. In this season when flowers bloom, our rough edges were smoothed away. Gently, little by little, we learned to accept one another, to let go, and to look up. Like figures entwined beneath flowers and leaves, inseparable, we clasped hands and passed through this season. We were each other's finest encounter, and even parting, losing sight of each other, or saying goodbye could never erase that truth. Five slender fingers unfurl, parting from flower and leaf. A new encounter is about to begin.
