The Imperial Academy of the Tang Dynasty

Seven stars align, the Taiji symbol appears, and the gate of space and time opens!

At the summit of Mount Tai in the twenty-first century, a refined, unruffled middle-aged man looked up at the Taiji symbol that had suddenly appeared in the sky. The immense power of heaven and earth and the dazzling radiance it released in that instant left him frozen in place, his eyes snapping shut. Just then, a great gate appeared in the sky and instantly pulled him inside. The gate slowly faded away.

In the first year of the Baoding era of Northern Zhou, atop Mount Zhongnan, an old man with a dignified face, a white beard, and white hair smiled inside an ancient palace.
