Ugly Yet Pure

Take my hand, and calm the madness that has consumed half my life.

Kiss my eyes, and shield me from the wandering that has plagued half my life.

Caress my face, and soothe the sorrow that has shadowed half my life.

Hold my heart, and melt the ice that has frozen half my life.

Rest your hand on my shoulder, and dispel the silence that has engulfed half my life.

Awaken my heart, and conceal the brilliance that has shone throughout my life.
