The Years That Went By

Wei Yi and Wang Weijie had been childhood sweethearts, but after a few years together, Wang Weijie broke up with her and then vanished from her life without a trace.

A year later, while looking for someone to share an apartment with, Wei Yi met Wen Qi in France. Wen Qi looked very much like Wang Weijie, and the two hit it off right away. Wen Qi moved in with Wei Yi, and they became best friends.

Two years later, Wei Yi brought a red fetishist named Yin Che back from a meal with friends. Yin Che fell in love with her at first sight and pursued her passionately. But as he pursued her, he gradually learned about Wei Yi and Wang Weijie's past relationship, and she turned him down.

Yin Che didn't give up after being rejected. Instead, he became even more proactive and asked Wei Yi to pretend to be his girlfriend so he could get out of the marriage his father had arranged for him.
