How Far Apart Are We? tells the story of a girl with hidden potential who secretly loves her middle school deskmate, and eventually gets together with him. The story won't be too heartbreaking, so if you like tragic or dark stories, this probably isn't for you. The beginning is a little melancholy, but things get better later. I love tragic stories, but I'm no good at writing them, so the ending is a happy one.
