Transmigrating to Genesis

Somewhere, a lavishly dressed old man was traveling when he suddenly froze. His expression turned grave as he raised a hand and swept it in front of him. A pitch-black, person-sized vortex appeared before him. Without pausing, the old man stepped inside. Once his body had disappeared into the black hole, the swirling void hesitated for a moment, then instantly shrank to a point and vanished into thin air.
