Using Martial Arts to Point the Way

Martial arts are the first path to cultivation and the pursuit of truth. The spirit of martial arts is to use force to end violence and bring conflict to an end, seeking unity through mutual support amid strife. Force is not violence, nor is it fighting or killing for its own sake. It is meant to swiftly put an end to killing and conflict, and to protect and defend all living things. Only when there is no other choice should one fight. With a compassionate heart, one extends consideration to others, turns foes into friends, and unites heaven and earth as one!
