The protagonist, Zhang Qimou, studies business and trade at Huaxi Tongren University. His greatest talent is skipping class, followed by making connections, talking a good game, and making money. In total, he spends no more than three months studying on campus, yet he becomes an idol to his fellow students, a source of pride for his school, and a famous success in society.
