I'm Paid to Play the Most Hated Person, So Why Are You Raising My Rate?

Shen Yan transmigrates to a parallel world and gets an outrageous contract: appear on the dating reality show Heart-Pounding Trap as the most hated contestant, and earn a million for doing it well.

There's only one task: make everyone hate him as much as possible.

Shen Yan: No problem. If you pay me, I'll do it.

He slacks off and coasts along, focused only on finishing the script, getting paid, and making his escape.

But as soon as the cameras start rolling, everything goes completely off script.

The planned scandalous trending topic never comes, while the comment feed turns against the plan en masse.

They said the whole internet would curse him. So why are all the guests flocking to his side, and why are the viewers calling him their living ancestor?

Shen Yan is baffled. "Wait, can't you all stick to the script and hate me? I still need to collect the rest of my payment!"
