Survival Sequence

Bai Zhen takes his seven children on a holiday trip, only to get stuck in a traffic jam on the highway late at night. A blood moon rises, and Blue Star becomes an apocalyptic instance. He awakens the sole SSS-rank sequence, "Contractual Ascension," which lets him contract targets as companions, store them in the Ascension Chamber, and guide their evolution with evolution points. Bai Da is the first to be contracted, evolving into the "Fortune Baby Sequence" and using its golden light to upgrade a toy gun into a steel-ball gun. The crowd outside the car begins to stir. Bai Zhen grips his gun and summons Bai Er, ready to face the first day of the apocalypse.
