A Countryside Feng Shui Master Takes on the City

Chen Qing brought his family's heirloom compass from the countryside to the city to seek help from a fellow villager. While working at a construction site, he noticed that the layouts of several buildings in the city were abnormal. When he tried to tell the foreman, he was mocked for being superstitious. That night, he studied the stars and sensed baleful energy gathering to the west of the city. He decided to investigate alone, but was chased away by security guards outside a Japanese-owned factory. In early autumn, Nancheng was still stiflingly hot. Dust mingled with the roar of machinery, bearing down relentlessly on every inch of the construction site.
