Leading the Primordial Human Race to Develop Technology and Leave the Primordial World

Lin Yan transmigrates into the first clay figure Nuwa molded.

Behind him are 129,600 primordial humans. Before him lies the primordial world, where the Wu and the demons vie for supremacy. Here, humans are nothing more than food for the two races.

Nuwa attains sainthood, leaves behind a barrier that will last ten thousand years, and departs.

What can be done in ten thousand years? Enough to learn how to make fire, build a steam engine, let everyone cultivate immortality by soaking spiritual roots in spirit liquid, and turn tribulation trials into engineering inspections.

When the Golden-Winged Great Peng swoops low and sees a tribe that has only just learned to forge iron, it has no idea that a spiritual-energy computer is running underground and the Five-Banner Grand Formation is already in place.

Lin Yan doesn't cultivate his body or worship an immortal sect. He believes in only one thing: the scientific method is the only sword ordinary people can wield.

Ten thousand years later, the barrier falls and the Wu and demon armies descend. Underground gates open, a million mechanized troops pour out, and steel warships array themselves across the sky.

Wearing the engineer's work clothes he has worn for ten thousand years, Lin Yan says:

It's our turn now.
