Letting Production Run Amok: You Made the SCP Foundation

Lin Yue, a bankrupt game developer, discovers that the anomalous case files he casually made up in a game editor become real as long as enough people believe in them.

On a whim, he gave the city-destroying Meat Mountain a weakness: it was "afraid of salt." The whole city poured industrial salt on it, and the monster immediately collapsed into a pool of foul-smelling sludge.

Even more absurdly, the authorities believed it and turned him into a Class C investigator for the legendary organization known as the Anomaly Control Bureau.

As urban legends, scrapped anomalies, old files, and higher-dimensional gods awaken one after another, modern firepower proves useless and the world's order collapses.

Lin Yue appears calm: "Don't ask about my clearance. It's all about cognitive security." Inside, he's falling apart: "Oh no, I haven't even written this chapter yet!"

To stay alive, he has no choice but to hammer out new details on his keyboard while convincing the authorities, scientists, special forces, and world leaders that the Anomaly Control Bureau really exists.
