The Sin of Sealing the Rankings

Those who become immortals cannot be guilty.

Ye Qing should have been dead.

All 36,502 members of the Heavenly Blood Clan had been slaughtered by the divine race. He lay among the corpses, with no heart in his chest.

But he woke up. Somehow, a heart had grown inside him, wreathed in red mist and able to fight in his place.

He swore to wipe out the divine race and avenge his people. He fought his way from Ancient Mountain Island to the Eight Islands, rising from a lowly rogue cultivator to the Immortal-Sealing List. But just as he was about to kill his enemy with his own hands, a single palm shattered his heart.

When he woke again, he heard someone laughing: On the Immortal-Sealing List, the Heavenly Blood Clan had always been sinners.

They could never become immortals.

Only then did Ye Qing learn that whenever a member of the Heavenly Blood Clan made the Immortal-Sealing List, it marked them as a sinner.
