Weren't You Supposed to Be the Villain? How Did You Become the Savior?

Lin Zhou binds himself to the Villain Roleplaying System. His mission is to rack up hatred points, finish the script, and take a trillion home.

According to the script, he is supposed to be a stepping stone who makes the chosen protagonist, Su Chen, look good.

When a beast rift opens in a residential area, Su Chen chooses to stay behind. Lin Zhou means to play the villain and draw people’s hatred, but ends up killing the beasts and saving lives along the way.

Who could have guessed that his hatred points would plummet while his popularity skyrocketed?

He tries desperately to act cold and make ruthless threats, hoping to salvage his villain persona.

But the whole internet agrees: this villain talks tough but has a soft heart. He’s a savior!

Lin Zhou is at his wit’s end. No! I really just want to be the villain!
