Lies in Writing

Shen Mo is a patient with schizophrenia at Qingya Psychiatric Hospital, as well as the lowest-ranking copyist at the Chongwen Academy in another world.

In that world, written words come to life as murderous evil spirits. Mastering a word spirit grants power, but every word wielder eventually turns into a word, becoming a new word spirit.

Shen Mo has an ability that has never been recorded before: forged writing. He can alter the rules of word spirits, create words that don't exist, and even... create living people.

Then one day, he discovers that the people he created aren't afraid of fire.

And neither is he.
