The Blood of Youth: Playing Daoji, I Help Li Hanyi Escape Her Wedding

He transmigrates, and into Li Xiuyuan from The Blood of Youth, no less. From the start, he's bound to a Roleplaying System, and his first character is the mad monk Daoji. The crazier he acts, the stronger he gets, and the more convincingly he plays the role, the more divine abilities he gains. But before he can even celebrate, he discovers he's also saddled with an old marriage contract to the Lei family. He doesn't know who the bride is, and she never even showed up on the wedding day.

Why should he go through with this marriage? He runs. Shouting that he wants to become a monk at the wedding, he takes off in a wild, erratic dash for Lingyin Temple. Ten years of pretending to be crazy and foolish earn him cultivation just shy of the Divine Journey Realm. But when he finally descends the mountain, he discovers that the fiancée he ran away from all those years ago is none other than Li Hanyi, the Snow Moon Sword Immortal. And her sword is waiting for him now.

Along the way, he picks up a foolish young man short on travel money and meets a stingy innkeeper with a host of secrets. One wants to challenge the Ascending Pavilion in Snow Moon City; the other wants to return to Tianqi City and reclaim his throne. The mad monk leads the way, waving his battered fan, with plenty of wine and meat and all the trouble taken care of. But no one knows just how much strength is hidden beneath that carefree look he wears as he fans himself.
