Tokusatsu: I'm an Invader Bug, and I Choose to Protect Humanity

The identity of an alien insect and the memories of a human inhabit the same body. By day, he works at a teppanyaki restaurant. By night, he transforms into a monster and hunts his own kind. But every time he uses the insect's power, it hastens the erosion of his remaining humanity. Unless he can hold on to that final line, he will eventually become a beast ruled entirely by instinct, and even the name Hoshino Yuma will be erased.

Tendo Souji still stands tall as the sun, ready to regard him as another aberration that must be eliminated. Kagami continues charging headlong into ZECT's lies, while Hiyori knows nothing about the truth. And a deeper fear lies in the inexplicable gaps in his memory after each transformation. What did he do during those moments? Has he already hurt someone he wanted to protect?

He must keep questioning himself, suppress his bloodlust, and tread carefully between hunting and protecting. The promises he made as a human may one day be rendered meaningless by a loss of control. But as long as he can still say his own name, he has to keep going: living like a human in the body of an alien insect.
