Type-Moon: The Mascot Girl Turns the Tables on Players While Merlin Puts on an Act

After transmigrating as Artoria, she finds herself locked in a cage by goblins from the start. Worse, she discovers that she is an NPC, while the world outside is full of players who can revive endlessly.

NPCs only get one life, and that matters more than any Red Dragon bloodline. To avoid becoming a quest-giving mascot who gets taken down and stripped for materials in the late game, she must use her level advantage to clear out everything she can before anyone else, and grab every quest she can along the way.

Then a player named Ainz Ooal Gown turns in a quest right in front of her and walks away with every last reward. At last, Lia realizes that killing monsters on her own is useless. Since the System lets her issue quests, she might as well make the rewards tempting enough, then let the players discover that a certain blonde mascot has quietly pocketed all the profits.

The village chief, who calls himself Merlin, smiles as he sends players off to die every day. But Lia has a growing suspicion that the old man knows better than anyone how she ended up in a goblin cage. If they're all putting on an act, then it's a question of who can use the players from beginning to end.
