Prince of Tennis: Chidori Appears, and the Generation of Miracles Takes on the Princes

The Teiko Middle School tennis club is on the verge of collapse. The third-year seniors have all given up, and dust blankets the courts. Bai Jinzhixing has been reborn for twelve years, and on his very first day at school, he discovers that Akashi Seijuro has already split into multiple personalities, Aomine Daiki is practicing against a wall until his strings snap, and Kuroko Tetsuya is standing in a corner where no one notices him. These geniuses, who should have been playing basketball, are all holding tennis rackets instead.

Bai Jin's Chidori tears across the court. The moment lightning crashes, Kagami Taiga gets shut out without even seeing the ball. Kise Ryota leans over the second-floor window, his lips dry. The next day, dark circles under his eyes, he rushes into the clubroom and says he wants to join, clutching a beginner's guide he bought overnight. Midorima sneers that they're all too lax, hugging a stuffed toy, while Murasakibara munches on snacks and mutters that if the snacks keep coming, he might be willing to move a little.

When Akashi sits in the umpire's chair and announces the doubles pairings, Bai Jin clearly sees Kuroko's lips curl into a smile. Light and shadow stand side by side, while Kagami and Aomine argue over who should cover the front court. This newly reborn school's tennis club is ready to use its absurd techniques to smash through the ceiling of the entire Prince of Tennis world.
