Pokemon: Starting as a Team Rocket Grunt, I Awaken the Power of Ghosts

Chi Xing transmigrated to the Pokemon world. His parents were middle-ranking members of Team Rocket, and he bound himself to a System that could scan Pokemon potential from the start. After being recruited into the organization, he chose a Venipede with purple potential. At his first meal in the cafeteria, he pinned a provocateur to the ground and choked him until his eyes rolled back, then strolled off with a thousand points on a card.

At the Goldenrod City Pokemon Day Care, he spent five thousand yuan on three high-potential eggs: an Alolan Vulpix, a Fire-type Vulpix, and an Audino. He then headed into the snowy mountains to search for resources, only to be frozen half to death by the lingering energy of an Articuno in an ice cave. The three Pokemon hatched early and used up all his savings to save him, but their potential had all advanced to purple, and Vulpix had even awakened the Psychic type.

On his way down the mountain, Chi Xing was ambushed by bounty hunters. His shoulder was still injured when he ran into a Salamence crushing three Pokemon at once. The powerful display set off the ghostly power within him, and he broke through to become an advanced Psychic in the heat of the moment. Natsu sensed the energy fluctuation and teleported over. After helping him stabilize his realm, she took him to meet Sakaki. Chi Xing gripped his Poke Ball and stood firm under the pressure of a Champion, earning a "not bad" from Sakaki and resources in the form of a space bracelet.
