Chaoyin Bookshop: The Sea Knows Your Name

Tide-Sound Bookshop opens only at midnight, when the tide comes in, and collects humanity's most intense emotional memories. Lin Xiu is the seventh-generation keeper. In exchange for a promise made at ebb tide, he has guarded the sea for ten years and lost the ability to empathize. Luo Yue is a girl plagued by a memory-erasing illness. She has forgotten who she is, and forgotten the boy who jumped into the sea for her ten years ago.

She enters the bookshop, and the wind chime rings. He remembers everything about her but dares not let her remember; she keeps forgetting, yet each time she can hear his name again in the sound of the tide.

The sea may forget the shore, but it knows your name.

"It doesn't matter if you forget me. With every sound of the tide, I'll call you home."
