Anime Crossover: Cutting Through Foes with a Demon Blade, Leaving Soma Yukihira in Awe

Wang Lin binds himself to the God of Cooking System and saves up Origin Points for a ten-pull, which gets him the Demon Blade Thousand Blades. The divine weapon meant for slaughtering assassins ends up in his hands as a tool for julienning potatoes. When the heiress of Totsuki shows off her knives, he casually flicks his wrist. Thousand Blades breaks into fragments that whirl through the air, shaving carrots into paper-thin slices translucent enough to let the light through.

At the transfer student assessment, Soma Yukihira is sweating profusely as he works on an egg, while Wang Lin leans against the wall scrolling on his phone. Erina Nakiri frowns and sends Hisako to question him. He smiles shyly. "I'm waiting for your grandfather. He said he wanted to meet me in person." As the entire room freezes in shock, Senzaemon Nakiri steps out of the shadows and narrows his eyes at the Demon Blade at Wang Lin's waist. "That old devil Ranshu gave you a weapon like that to use as a kitchen knife?"

Wang Lin draws Thousand Blades, and the blade splits into a thousand pieces that hover in midair. "Director, would you like to see my knife skills? By the way, I can make thirty of the fried eggs your granddaughter just tested, all at once, with this blade."

Soma Yukihira leans closer to look. All thirty fried eggs are perfectly cooked on one side, with crisp edges and runny yolks. He swallows. "Uncle, can I borrow that knife to chop some vegetables?"
