Xuanhuan: I Erode Evil with My Spirit Fingers

Lu Yuan, fourteen years old, is a poor, hungry boy from Qingshi Village.

The day his grandfather trades him for a bag of silver scraps and sends him to Guiyun Sect, he thinks a cultivation sect will at least feed him. Instead, the outer disciples are left to fend for themselves. He is given a copy of the Clear Qi Art and abandoned on Wangyun Peak. An older disciple leaves him a warning: if he doesn't reach the second level of Qi Refining within three months, he'll be punished by being sent to dig spirit stones or to donate his blood and qi to the alchemy hall.

His good friend Li Guran offers him a moldy flatbread. He's missing a finger.
