American Comics: Recruited from the Start, Superman Hides Among Mortals

Lin Ke transmigrates into Marvel and starts with Superman's body. Anyone else with this power might become a superhero or conquer the world, but all he wants is a quiet job as a New York police officer. Superheroes don't get paid, their actions are restricted, and they have to swallow every grievance. Who would choose to live like that?

While patrolling Hell's Kitchen, he runs into a shootout between the Irish Mob and the Russian Mob. More than forty men open fire, and he drives his police car straight into the battle alone. He raises his Glock 19 and fires a headshot. More than twenty lives are wiped out on the spot, and the Russian Mob charges in to finish off the rest. Everyone at the West Midtown Precinct falls silent. After Internal Affairs finishes its investigation, it gives just one verdict: his conduct was within regulations. The Irish Mob threatens revenge, and the Russian Mob seizes the chance to reclaim territory. The two gangs' conflict spirals out of control, so Lin Ke heads to Las Vegas for a vacation. He sunbathes by the pool, wins at the casino, and walks away with five million dollars.

At a VIP card table, Tony Stark has yet to become Iron Man. Justin Hammer is anxiously jumping up and down nearby, while Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin, and Alexandra Reid, one of The Hand's Five Fingers, watch from the shadows.
