Siheyuan: The Craftsman from the South

Yang Xiaodong has extraordinary carpentry skills, and is hired by the Beijing Woodworks Factory during a recruitment drive.

But he senses something is amiss.

Still, he has his own reasons: he wants to find a chance to go to Beijing and search for his parents, who mysteriously disappeared sixteen years ago. So he volunteers to move into that courtyard.

However, after arriving in Beijing, one strange incident after another unfolds...

Will he be able to achieve what he set out to do?
