Draw Your Sword, and Don't Talk

The Heavenly Dao is locked down, spiritual energy has dried up, and the Nine Domains are a demonic wasteland.

The immortal sects preach righteousness and concern for all living things, while secretly feeding on the blood of the innocent. The demonic path is ruled by survival of the fittest, with bullies abusing men and women alike. This is a mad world where whoever shouts loudest and acts most shamelessly gets to survive.

Ling Buyu has arrived from another world. In his previous life, he was a forensic pathologist who specialized in dissecting the victims of murder cases.

When the great righteous cultivators try to guilt-trip him, he simply draws his sword. "Shut up and take it up with my Sword of the Human Emperor, the Righteousness of Heaven and Earth."

When demonic cultists threaten and taunt him, he draws his sword again. "I can't be bothered to explain this nonsense to you."

In this rotten world, full of hypocrites, Ling Buyu figures out the easiest way to survive:

Since there's no telling who's righteous and who's evil, treat them all like demons and kill them. Since no one listens to reason, let the sword decide.

From then on, someone else takes the top spot on the Heaven Rankings, and a forensic report appears on the dead: "Cause of death: acute metal poisoning. I had nothing to do with it."

A lunatic forensic pathologist, taking down evil with evil, a demon among demons, too lazy to play along. Got a problem with that? Then draw your sword!
