Desert Island Survival: An All-Purpose System Helps a Top-Tier Star Take Off

Wu Tianyi is forced to take part in Back to Field Season 4. Along with Huang Lei, Teacher He, Peng Peng, Zhang Zifeng, Xiao Ju, and Pang Di, he is dropped onto a deserted island in the South China Sea, where they must survive for three months.

It's hell from the start: Xiao Ju breaks out in a rash all over after touching a lacquer tree, while Pang Di tries to drink untreated water and Wu Tianyi smacks the back of her hand with a stick. The whole internet calls him a clueless guy. The next second, he pulls out plantain grass to treat the rash on the spot, makes fire with flint, presses oil from camellia fruit to catch fish, and uses charcoal to remove grime and tea-seed meal to wash their hair. The chat floods with viewers changing their tune and calling him a genius. Ten hours of livestreaming isn't enough for anyone, and viewers frantically call in demanding another broadcast.

Peng Peng drops to his knees and begs to become his disciple on the spot. Zhang Zifeng sneaks a peek at his body while he bathes. Xiao Ju blushes and asks him, "Is there anything you can't do?" Pang Di holds up an empty bottle, looking miserable as she waits for a drink. While everyone else goes hungry and freezes on the island, Wu Tianyi builds a shelter with his bare hands, fries fish with wild-fruit juice, and makes a bed with cattail leaves and flower spikes, somehow turning a survival show into an "island vacation." Huang Lei is moved to tears, and Teacher He sighs, "He's the real king of the wilderness." The livestream numbers explode, and all the top-tier star actresses flock around him.
