Siheyuan: Sign-In for Bajiquan, Full Marks on the College Entrance Exam

Yi Guoqiang transmigrates to a small town in the Northwest in 1958. When he wakes up, both his parents are gone, leaving him to wait for the future with only a blacksmith shop and two boxes of ashes.

Before his mother dies, she tells him that he has a biological second uncle in the capital: Yi Zhonghai, an eighth-grade fitter at the Hongxing Steel Plant and a national model worker.

Yi Zhonghai brings his nephew to live in the courtyard. Jia Zhangshi is just about to question whether they're really related when she discovers that the boy is not only the sole heir of the Yi family, but also a genius capable of jumping straight from junior high to high school.

The sign-in System then activates, delivering high school knowledge, Bajiquan, and a steady stream of other rewards.

Yi Guoqiang scores full marks in the principal's office, then builds a water rocket with his own hands, drawing Academicians Qian and Deng to come watch.

When he gives up on college and enters the factory to face off against Soviet experts, everyone in the courtyard finally understands: Yi Zhonghai didn't bring home a nephew to support him in his old age, but a master craftsman who can bring honor to the nation.
