Reincarnated as Wukong in Black Myth, I Journey West Only to Save Linyue

This is a westward journey steeped in darkness. If immortals or gods stand in the way, destroy them. If Buddhas block the path, slaughter them. Sun Yan's soul transmigrated into the Great Sage Equal to Heaven. On his arrival, he wreaked havoc in the Celestial Palace, shattered the Celestial Court with his staff, and drenched the thirty-three heavens in blood, only to be suppressed beneath Five Elements Mountain by the Tathagata for five hundred years.

His spiritual energy dwindled day by day, and solitude gnawed at him until a girl named Tian Linyue entered his world of captivity. She called him “Little Monkey,” stole buns and picked peaches for him, and spent four years melting away the cold imposed upon him by gods and Buddhas.

But how could gods and Buddhas allow a demon king to love? She was forced into marriage. To free him two hundred years early, she willingly sacrificed her soul, which was imprisoned deep within Spirit Mountain, denied rebirth for all eternity.

From then on, his journey west was no longer about retrieving the scriptures and atoning for his sins. It was about storming Spirit Mountain and reclaiming her soul. If immortals and gods blocked his way, he would slay them; if Buddhas stood in his path, he would trample Thunderclap Temple. All the gods and Buddhas in the heavens regarded him as a pawn, but he would wield his staff as a brush and shatter the false firmament. Whoever dared lay a finger on her, from heaven to earth, he would wipe from existence. He would save Linyue, and even if it meant becoming the enemy of the entire world of gods and Buddhas, he would never turn back.
