Journey West: One Year of Cultivation Per Step, I Stand Against Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva

Sui Sanzang? No, he's Jin Chanzi in his ninth life, a regular meal on Monk Sha's menu!

From the start, he's stuck in a death trap: heading west means certain death, while staying east means waiting to die. Then he activates the Journey to the West Power-Up System: every step west adds a year to his cultivation; overcoming each tribulation sends his merit through the roof; gather four disciples, and he instantly ascends to the Primordial Unity realm!

So the sixth prince of the Great Sui gets tonsured on the spot. He has no choice but to go, and he turns the pilgrimage into a blood-soaked harvest. Eighty-one tribulations? They're just experience-grinding dungeons. Demons, monsters, ghosts, and spirits? Don't run, you're all walking merit points!

He races all the way to Five Finger Mountain, casually recruits Sun Wukong, then turns around and storms the underworld to seize a man. The King of Hell is so terrified that he kneels and offers treasures, while Di Ting gets slapped into a sea of blood.

That is, until Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha steps in, claiming to act on Heaven's behalf as he tries to cripple his cultivation.

Gazing at the Buddha's palm blotting out the sky, Yang An smiles.

"Bodhisattva, how many years of cultivation do you think I've gained by taking one step west each year, by the time I reach you?"

Tell me, can Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha withstand this palm?
