American Comics: Blade's Bloodline, Simulating the Daywalker's Evolution

After transmigrating into the Marvel Universe, Chen Luo became a low-ranking vampire grunt from the start. He'd barely been turned when Blade stormed the nightclub, so he bolted and ran for his life. The System offered him two choices: stand and fight Blade and end up in a grave, or flee and double his agility. He chose the latter. His agility shot up to ten times that of an ordinary person, and he ran more than twice as fast as his fellow vampires. Even Carson couldn't touch him. Chen Luo turned around and framed Quinn for murder by Blade, then took his place as second-in-command. When Carson brought his men to force him out of Heaven's Nightclub, Chen Luo sliced off Carson's right arm with a silver wire in front of everyone. The room fell silent. A System notification appeared: Subdue Carson, and double your agility again. Deacon was delighted and began giving this "clean" newcomer important work. But Chen Luo had never wanted to be a vampire lackey. What he wanted was Blade's Daywalker bloodline, the incredible physique that made him immune to sunlight, holy water, and silver. While Deacon was still fantasizing about the descent of the Blood God, Chen Luo opened his System panel and stared at a new option: Capture Blade, extract the Daywalker gene, and gain immunity to sunlight. He licked his fangs and grinned. "I'll find a chance to invite that guy in the black coat back for tea."
